Hello, I’m Kim
I’m the founder and creative force behind Nest and Flourish Interiors.
As a working mum of four, I know first-hand the whirlwind of chaotic mornings, the endless laundry piles, the muddy footprints, and the ongoing battle with clutter that comes with family life!
Living near Leeds with my husband, our children, and a lively Labrador, I understand the need for a home that’s not just visually beautiful but genuinely functional.
For me, great design is about making life easier, reducing stress, and creating spaces that feel as supportive as they are stylish.
Nest and Flourish Interiors exists to transform spaces into places of comfort, wellbeing, and joy. I know that a thoughtfully designed home is essential to staying organised and alleviating the daily pressures that come with a busy life. But for me, design goes beyond aesthetics - I specialise in inclusive and accessible design, ensuring that every space I work with truly serves each individual, regardless of age or ability.
My 20 years in nursing, including 15 as a community nurse, profoundly shaped my understanding of how our surroundings impact our wellbeing. Working with families in their homes, I saw how accessible, supportive environments can foster independence and greatly enhance mental and physical health. I now bring this unique insight to my design projects, creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also prioritise ease of use, dignity, and comfort.
Based in Yorkshire, I offer a personalised, one-to-one design service for clients across Leeds, York, Harrogate, as well as the wider Yorkshire and Greater Manchester regions. I also support clients throughout the UK with flexible online services.
